Over twenty years of global business leadership and management consulting experience focused on global growth and helping clients find their future with new technologies. I'm a technology executive, business advisor, author & speaker focused on creating the next chapter of technology driven business strategy and management.
Today's technology innovations will set every organization free—free to innovate, free to perform at incredible new productivity levels and free to make a future where value creation knows no boundaries—they also create unprecedented risks.
As a former early-stage B2B SaaS Director/CEO/Executive and top tier IT and management consulting partner I've built, led and advised businesses all over the world and have managed start-up and multi-country P&L's up to $125M.
I'm a nationally recognized speaker and author on IT and cybersecurity governance and I contribute to these issues as a Senior Fellow, Governance Center for The Conference Board and as a member of the NACD SoCal Board. I also teach global business strategy to undergraduates and graduates at the USC Marshall School of Business.
My key publications include the book Social Inc. (2013, Kauffman Fellows Press) and the chapter "IT and Cybersecurity Governance in a Digital World" in The Handbook of Board Governance (2016, WILEY).
My degrees are from Texas Tech University and The University of Chicago and I've lived in Saudi Arabia, England, Hong Kong, Tokyo and the United States.
I've worked with a lot of very smart people, played a little basketball, saved a lot of shelter animals and found the humor wherever I could.
I do pro-bono work on the Advisory Boards of:
-Los Angeles Universal Preschool (LAUP)
-UC, Irvine Center for Digital Transformation
I'm always ready to help any CEO or Board understand the future of business being shaped by disruptive technologies.
